Each month we meet to hear guest speakers in a support group setting or share in member lead discussions. We enjoy refreshments provided by group members. No dues. We invite you to join us as we share, support, comfort, inform and bond.

Atlanta Area Support Group

We meet the 1st Saturday of each month.

Members start gathering at 10:40 a.m. The formal part of the meeting begins around 11, followed by small group or individual discussions. We finish up around 12:30 p.m.

The AAMMSG meetings are held at Briarcliff United Methodist Church located at 4105 Briarcliff Road, Atlanta, Georgia.
The church is easily accessible off I-85, Exit 93 (Shallowford Rd). It is located at the end of Shallowford Road where it meets Briarcliff Road. Parking is available behind the church as well as the parking lots on both sides of the church. The meetings are held in the Fellowship Hall located through the entrance near the playground off the large parking lot.  Directional signs are posted in the parking lot and near the entrance.

The Southside Support Group meets at 10:00 a.m. for refreshments followed by a lecture or member lead discussion. Additional sharing follows the formal meeting, ending around 12:30.

Throughout the year our groups coordinate visits to local medical facilities to gather additional information and knowledge. These special trips are announced at the meetings as well as through our newsletter.
